02. Brief
The Jaeger-LeCoultre holographic displays have been developed in complete harmony with the brand philosophy and are implemented worldwide.
The storytelling authored and imagined by our creatives have enchanted the shops customers.
Luxurious materials such as gun barrel have been used to produce the displays.
The holographic animations allow the visitors to mind-travel through different worlds and be enchanted by the beauty and details of every watch.
Concept creation
Amethys has lived a full immersion within Jaeger-LeCoultre Manufacture at Vallée de Joux in order to observe and understand their masterpieces creation. Several artwork are represented through the animation : handmade gem setting, engraving and enameling are holographically represented.
Prototyping
Every masterpiece and the Reverso reversing case have been filmed at 360°. Our 3D animators have assembled each image and added the holograms magic touch. The stories that are told through the holograms are not only the crafting, but also the history of the brand as astronomy, art-déco, jewellery and many others. The study of the prototype has been a fundamental phase of the project. Aestheticism and security had to be taken into consideration. The masterpieces protection was one of the projects key.
Production
Various holographic animations have been created for Jaeger-LeCoultre. One of them was entirely virtual – no physical watch within the holographic display..
This solution is very powerful, secure and adapted for points of sales who need to show a product but cannot have a watch physically exhibited. The challenge is to digitally present an existing product. The high complication are rare and produced on demand. The hologram allowed Jaeger-LeCoultre to virtually present the watches in each store, worldwide.
